How many guests can the property accommodate? 

10 in the Cabin and 4 in the Guesthouse. The guesthouse and cabin can be booked together for a total of 14 guests.  

What is your booking window?

Weekends in May-June and September-November are reserved for wedding bookings. The calendar will open up in March of the same year and any available weekends will be open to booking. You may contact us to get put on a waitlist to be notified first when the weekends open. 

I’m booking the cabin, will I have privacy if someone books the guesthouse? 

The layout of the two homes provides privacy! The foot traffic of the cabin is on the east side, while the entrance to the guest house is on the west side. One will not be bothered by the other. We ask that you please be mindful and no loud music outdoors after 10 pm.

Will guests staying at the guesthouse have access to the pool?

To maintain privacy, only guests renting the cabin have access to the pool and hot tub and this is because these amenities have direct access to the house and its windows.
  
Do you allow weddings? 

Yes! We are a wedding venue and have lots of great details on our website here.  

Will there be an event happening during my stay? 

No, we do not rent the house or guesthouse if there is an event scheduled. 

Is there enough parking?

The cabin and guesthouse share the driveway. Each home has designated parking areas. We also have parking for horse trailers.  

Do you allow pets?

Not for stays. We do allow our couples to bring in their dog for photos on the day of the wedding.  

How often does the train go through?

The CSX trains and an occasional Amtrak pass through about 3-4 times/day. Times vary and trains are short. There has never been any interference with guest’s stays or during weddings. 

Will I have cell service? 

We have reliable and fast Wifi anywhere on the property. 

What are the age restrictions for guests? 

All unsupervised guests must be 25 years of age or older.

How child-friendly is the property? 

The cabin is not child-proofed or child friendly. We have many guests who have children, but it’s important for children to be supervised during their stay. The pool does not have a fence. The guesthouse has 2 sets of stairs that may be dangerous.

Is the property handicap accessible?  

Both homes do have stairs leading up to the entry and the pool has steps without handrails to get in and out. This property is not advisable if anyone has limited mobility.  

Is the property monitored?  

We do have outdoor cameras for your safety and ours, located at the front doors and back patio/pool. We live at the back of the property, about 900 yards away, and are available should any concerns arise.
